The Nature Monument of Domoraz Meadows [ Natural Monument ]
The nature monument of Domoraz Meadows represents a 7.18 ha area of meadow growth, situated nearby the village of Hostašovice in the spring area of the Srní Stream c. 360 m above sea level. The locality is situated in the transitional area of two phyto-geographical regions - the Moravian Gate and the Vsetín Valley - and is formed by associations of waterlogged meadows with a transition to pastures. The purpose of protection is the conservation of natural conditions of a unique locality of the protected species of dactylorhiza majalis L and of other disappearing and protected plant species.
